I find the opposite is true for CNN. They are only pushing the old white people so far. Theyhave done town halls for all candidates, but they have had an endless parade of commentators pushing up Biden in particular, but also to a lesser extent Warren and Sanders. It's puzzling to me, because I don't believe there is a large chance of any of the three winning the nomination. My money would be on Harris, Gillibrand, or Klobuchar. Following them, Castro or Brown or someone else.

Instead, I keep hearing on CNN how the main question is who can beat Trump. No one has to beat Trump. Trump has all but beaten himself already. That's not the issue at all. That was the issue when Clinton was voted in over Bernie. This is a different election.

Channeling FatBuckeyeFan for a moment, I think Trump has done everything he could to beat himself so he can go back to his lucrative real estate empire. He has purposely and steadfastly refused to widen his base to include more segments of the population. He has assumed he can be as much a rude SOB as he wants since the economy is good and everyone will approve. I can't remember a president with such a consistent approval rating as Trump's.

I think the reason is that he does everything he can to be unlikable. He makes Crooked Hillary and Lyin Ted look like oracles. He makes Imperial Bush and Obama look like Gandhi. I can't imagine any other president touting a policy of family separations. Literally can't imagine it. Even Roosevelt with his internment camp abomination kept families together.

And if we have a recession, you will literally see his base abandon him and the Red party will too. He has a chance only because of the darn good economy, and of course the intensity of his base's loyalty. Both could change in a hurry.

LOL.  Not even sure where to begin with this mess.  How does someone get so misinformed?  I think the thing that makes James so ignorant is he refuses to grasp just how one sided the Democrat media establishment is and how successful they are in shaping public opinion with propaganda.
