North Carolina vs Ohio State Game thread

I love this team. They share the ball and minutes, give 💯 on D, and just carry themselves well. You can tell they like each other. UNC less Bacot isnâ€t too 10, but they were coming off a win vs top 10 Oregon. They are not UVA over rated.

I got a feeling they have the inside edge on an #1 NIT seed.

Worst home loss ever at Dean Dome, and another 20 or so years they played in their old

One seed...saw this from ESPiN:
No. 6 Ohio State beat No. 7 North Carolina 74-49...

The Buckeyes are the 4th team in AP poll history to beat two top-10 teams by at least 25 points in the same season. Each of the previous 3 teams went on to win the National Championship.

We got this NIT thing wrapped up.

This is a good year for tOSU to break that 59 years drought.

Good Luck, but I'm taking the field...

Good chance when the next ratings come out our basketball Bucks will be higher rated than our football Bucks. One hell of an NIT squad.

You just set the all time record for the largest distance of a goal post shift ever seen. From NIT bound to "yeah, you're now a failure if you don't win it all." Of course, in any given year pretty much every team in the field has a less than 10% chance of winning the whole thing.

NIT type program.

Good programs win 2 titles. Great programs win 5 titles. Elite programs win 7+ titles.

Just how I see it.

Again, I'll be back in April to remind folks.

Probably so.   We all need to enjoy the rebirth of really good talent on the OSU basketball team with a great coach in Holtmann.
I joke about Matta but he did a fantastic job at OSU.   At some point all things come to an end and his time came for retirement.
