ChinaBuckMusic Analysis

This guy analyzes the vocals and instruments mostly from songs of the 60's through the early 2000's. The host's name is Fil and the program is titled Wings of Pegasus. This is by far my favorite of the musical analysis vids that I've watched. I could have picked anyone of his videos analyses, but this is just the most recent one of his I've seen. Anyway, they are all good.

This is a breakdown of the voice of Steve Ellis when he was with the group Love Story. The song is Everlasting Love, and it's his version that is the one you will remember the most. By the way, Steve Ellis was 17 when this was recorded in 1967.

I like to listen to guys like this who can wax on about songs they love like this.
The song being discussed is often key?? But no. If the guy is entertaining it doesn’t matter what song it is?

I’m glad this guy isn’t digging into vocal patterns or guitar riffs Whoops spoke too soon

Pitch monitor?? Yeah some people can sing and others can’t. My wife is a singer of sorts and she can hear a flat note in a heartbeat. I can’t

Trying desperately to not take this thread off to a REAL vocal analysis… having nothing to do with music…

I've watched quite a few of his videos. I recommend the Ronstadt reviews he's done especially. He recently did one where someone had autotuned a live performance of Clapton doing Layla. He was correct that it ruined the song.
