Holding soldiers to a high level of battlefield conduct and discipline is a good thing. They might not get credit for it from libs, but the US Army has always been far better behaved than any other force engaged in combat operations in history. The Army and Marines have always been immensely better behaved than the Red Army, the Japanese Imperial Army, the VC, or ISIS types. Not holding troops accountable for crap like body desecration(if they are stupid enough to record it/brag about it), is a step in a negative direction. If you are morally superior to your martial opponent A-act like it and B-expect your fellow brothers in arms to act like it too.
