And, of course, it's forecast to be overcast tomorrow night here.

I'm in Myrtle Beach, SC right now and if you look at the sightseeing chart I'm in a small section that is supposed to be considered a "good" viewing area.  It should be very dark over the ocean and of course the horizon is not a problem.

Lol. I think I saw one, but it didn't have a tail. It was definitely moving and wasn't an aircraft (an aircraft actually flew beneath from my vantage points).  I'm in the "good" viewing area, but I think there is just too much light around here for this to be cool, hard to even see stars.

I'll check again during the "prime" viewing time according to that article.

Okay, that wasn't one I saw earlier. Went outside again, walked to the back of the complex where it is dark and saw one for sure this time. That was really cool. You could see it glistening and moving. Had a reference point to a tree branch, so I know my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.

Just got back in.  Walked out on the beach to try to get a better horizon.
Wife and I saw about 7.  It was partly cloudy and most of the viewing area was obstructed.  Still, we had a blast.  Love watching the heavens when things like this occur.
We are regular space station observers when it fly's over.

You ever watched the space station fly over?

No, but I will have to look for that in the future, thanks for the link. I'm not an expert or anything near, but I do love astronomy/space stuff and seeing/learning about it.

It is amazing to watch.  You definitely need to see this.  You can go to the website and set it up to alert you when I passes over.  It's usually the brightest thing in the sky as it passes over.
Really neat!
