maizeBetter Call Saul
I would say that he definitely wants to escape and find a new identity, hopefully he does and can escape.

I heard Chuck comes back in a flashback scene.

If there's a scene with Walt I'm betting it's in the disappearer's basement room before they go their separate ways.  They can't meet up again in the post BB timeline, as Saul noted in his phone call to Francesca that Walt is already in the ground.

If Saul does use the disappearer that means he has to go back to Albuquerque, which could open up all sorts of possibilities.

Iâ€m just going to throw something crazy out there just in case thereâ€s that chance I land on one for once. Plus itâ€s the finale.  I gotta guess something.

Here we go.  Kim finds out sheâ€s going to be charged for the Howard stuff.  She somehow comes into contact with Saul.  They find the disappearer and they both hit the road together.  Someone dies (of course) but not Saul.  He is a cockroach after all.

I really have no concrete idea where this ends up.  That long shot is about it

I think that Jimmy did what he did to save Kim's conscience.

Thoughts?

I'm sad. This series of shows/movie started in 2008. I was in HS.

I always like realism in movies and shows.  This ending (jail time) stayed on that course.  That said, I really wanted to see him end it as a free man on the run as opposed to this.  So on the one hand this ending was very believable, but on the other I feel dissatisfied at the way it ended.

I also agree that he wanted Kim to remember him this way as opposed to the scumbag weasel he was as Saul.

Sad to see the franchise come to an end, but all good things eventually do.

This was Jimmy making amends with Kim who is the only person he really loved and desired to be loved by.

Had he only gotten 7 years and left the cloud hanging over Kim's head for the death of Hamlin, it would've left her in a lurch.

So he accepted all of the blame for all of their chicanery and thats why they were able to reconnect.

So alp of the loose ends are tied now except for possibly jesse in the future, as he is still on the lamb in Alaska and could presumably have another BB movie sequel to see how his story truly ends (death or imprisonment), but I think they'll leave his story completed as it is.
