There are nights I get home (I usually get home around 10) and I start scrolling the channels and I get to Fox and I'm like... I just can't do this tonight. I just want to unwind and relax. Â
I'm trying to avoid election year rage til at least the summer. Now I'll get drawn in every now and then, but I can't do another 2016 election season. 24/7/365 rage for or against a candidate... uggghhh, I can't keep that pace up anymore. I don't want to keep that pace up anymore. Besides, I'm one vote. I know who I'm voting for. Why get all wound up? I'm not a Dem voter that can vote 100 times. I do what I can do and give my one little vote. Being pissed off all the time isn't going to change anything
The ramping up of faux outrage is going to be off the charts next year. Dems have been in full panic mode since Trump won and the ONLY thing they care about is not allowing Trump to win in 2020. Unless someone like Tulsi Gabbard wins the Dem nomination, there's about 0% chance I vote for a D or R, so I'll just do what I did in 2016: grab some beer, watch the election night carnage and laugh.

Iâ€ve said this many times already, but Gabbard is the only Dem in that field that middle America could vote for.  Iâ€m ignoring Biden because I consider him toast.

I read nationalreview.com and reason.com fairly regularly, and look at foxnews.com to get a preview of the crazy articles zig is going to post on here. If something truly important is happening, I will catch it on 700 WLW. I completely ignore any and all talking heads arguing/“analyzing†anything to with Russia/Ukraine/hissy fitting the 16†election/impeachment.

I like FoxNews and rarely watch any other. I get my general news from a daily feed of over 400 news sites and blogs.
But, there are times like this morning that it gives me the pucker factor.
I purposely did not watch the Dimocrud debate and had no interest in it.
So, what do I get on Fox this morning?
Nothing but recaps of the damned farcial Klown Kar. Â
I proudly voted for Donald J. Trump and will do so again in 2020!!! Â

I haven't watched the news since the early 1980's. I used to get my news from USA Today/Der Spiegel/The Economist. None of which I waste my coin or time on these days.
Fox is MSNBC Lite. If I wanted sophistry, I'd wait for JW's posts.
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

Was gonna ask if this is a 100% true NH newbie, or if this is a new moniker. Either way, yes, welcome aboard.

The Dem party appears to be in the midst of a purge. I think it's stupid, but I think that they think they can make it work as long as they are allowed to continue to "fundamentally transform" the nation.

For better or worse, their goal of fundamentally transforming the nation is a big reason Trump was elected.
