Believe me if he was any good, the Canadian League would be pounding at his door. You can get ANY QB to throw a ball during workouts and they will look good. The real test come during play when he has to read defenses and then complete a pass. He still want to be relative but not in football. He's following in Al's and Jessies footsteps.

Interesting sequences of events. IMO, there must have something in the NDA agreement between CK and NFL where this had to occur or the NDA would be modified or voided, otherwise there's no reason for the NFL to hold this workout as CK was out of the news cycle and forgotten.

With all that said... CK isn't a martyr and will never be a martyr.

CK is the victim of being blackballed even though he could still play... or that's been the narrative for 3 years. If he gets signed but fails to produce, the victim narrative dies and the new narrative is he wasn't blackballed, he just couldn't play. He won't sign with any team in any league to play football because he assumes all the risk with very little reward... after all, he was 1-10 in his last 11 games.

The CFL is a passing league. With only three downs, they throw the ball on just about every play, unless it is a short yardage situation. Even if it's snowing and windy as Hell, it's throw throw, throw. He has the mobility that you need up there, but if he isn't accurate with his throws he will get eaten alive. You miss a throw, and it kills the drive.

With all due respect to Hank, Hank is an idiot. The NFL should not be a non-profit and it's designation should be revoked... none of which is remotely related to CK's choice to offend those people who made him a multi-millionaire.
