ScarletHayesThe last show on TV that can still get away with it
#1
One of my favorite comedies of all time.  How do they get away with this stuff when other shows couldn't dream of it?  Don't confuse what I'm saying here.  I love this stuff.  It's funny.  I'm not trying to silence them.  I just wonder how they can do this when virtually no one else can.  At least not on prime time TV.  Anyway, our snowflake culture needs to take a break and learn to laugh again.

ASIP is a politically INCORRECT goldmine.   Tongue

Not only is this show politically incorrect as hell; they also mock the hell out of PC culture on top of it.   Cool

I'm amazed how sensitive the world has become.  WHY?  BECAUSE no one wants to be shamed and called a name....

The gang goes to a water park.  Frank and Charlie wait in line to get on a ride when they see a kid with an accompanying adult cutting in front of everyone.  They ask why the kid gets to cut and the lady replies it's a Make A Wish thing.  The kid had a form of cancer.  So naturally Charlie and Frank decide to pretend that Frank has Aids so they can cut in line all day.  The rest is slap stick/slap happy comedy at its finest.  What adds to it is that the last ride/slide isn't yet fully functional.  There's no water flowing down it yet.

Itâ€s on cable, they let shows do whatever they feel like-just like South Park. Network sitcoms are the hlamest, least interesting things out there b/c NBC, CBS, and ABC are under the mistaken impression their shows are relevant.

My buddy in Vegas knows a gay couple-heâ€s straight but was best man in their wedding-who opened up a pizza joint, but found out one of them had AIDS. Itâ€s still open, but I figure this has to be some kind of health code violation-having AIDS and working in food service!

I know the network shows have always been under a tighter leash, but Iâ€m mostly talking woke, taboo topics.  Stuff like black face, etc...  Nobody still gets away with that, except...  Always Sunny.  Most folks are shamed into falling in line.  Yet IASIP seems to somehow manage avoiding the wrath of woke, millennial, LGBTQTV types.

Maybe Iâ€m overselling this.  Off the top of my head no other shows are coming to mind though.  Now HBO, Cinemax, et al are a different cat (though Iâ€m betting theyâ€re in the crosshairs too).  Iâ€m talking your typical network and cable tv packages.  IASIP doesnâ€t just walk up to the line, it blows right past it.
