Poor parenting and guns have been around for a long time. In the 20 years before Columbine, there were 115 school shootings. In the 20 years since Columbine, over 230.

yeah, statistics are shady.....I was listening to NPR yesterday after this story broke and they were interviewing a reporter who said there have been 38 school shootings THIS YEAR......

Nope. I fabricated nothing. If you bothered to look at the details of the wikipedia list of school shootings, you'll see it's a very liberal list. I don't see how much could have been left off. The list from the other link, even if more conservative, still shows a huge increase since Columbine.
