DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

I don't hate cops in general.  Do I think, due to early brainwashing at an elementary school level, we believe that cops are our friends, are always the good guys and are just here to help us?  Yes.  Is what we're told true?  No.

I've posted positive police stories in the past but, like most other topics, most of the things discussed here are stories about poor behavior or bad choices (see the story about the ISIS lady).

My issue is the lack of accountability when police mess up and the fact that they're allowed, for no good reason, to operate under different rules than we are.  If I was doing 94mph in my 'vette and hit an SUV, would I get away without absolutely no consequence?  No speeding ticket?  No reckless driving?  No fine?  No points on my license?  Nothing?

Hello no.

I don't think people are just disagreeing with you in a knee-jerk fashion, it's your obsession with all things bad cop.  As mentioned by others previously, it's akin to HT's race obsession.  Nothing wrong with making some comments and threads here and there, but...   teach that pony more than one trick.  There are other topics at hand.  Just dial it down a notch or 2.  I mean, within this thread you have most of us agreeing with you.  You don't have to convince us that cops make some major mistakes.  We're all well aware.
No I stand by my comments he is HT jr.  He hates just as much but he just approaches it in a more sophisticated fashion where HT just blurts it out and leaves no doubt.  Don't get me wrong though, I do like Pitch.  Actually I really like him as a poster and he makes me think.

Hello no.
I would say most(or a lot) schools probably teach what you preach.  "beware of cops, cops are out to get you, cops are corrupt."

Or they could tell them the truth, which is somewhere in the middle.
