Man's inhumanity to man's best friend
#1
Returning from Colorado with my dogs.  Stopped at our usual remote picnic spot for a run and water break.  As we returned to the truck my dogs took off towards the highway and I saw a little black animal down there.  It turned out to be an approx. 2 month old puppy.  It literally screamed in fear as my gentle dogs ran up to him/her.  It finally settled down and I put Tucker and Maggie back in the truck.  I took some water and food back, but he was too scared to let me approach close.  He ran across the road and there was another litter mate.  I had to leave them with the food and water.

I went to the Navajo retirement center about 6 miles away and asked the secretary to call whatever animal control they might have and gave her the info.  There was a small girl with her mom that met me outside and asked for the exact location.  Hopefully they found the pups and took care of them.

I hate this crap.  All over that Rez. there are dead dogs and you never see a well cared for dog, or even one with a collar and tags.

Then I get home and see an article about some sub humans taking a blow torch to a couple of 3 month old puppies.  WTF is wrong with people?

Agree, people are inhuman at times to pets.[Image: emoji190.png]   Be kind to animals.

Those little shitdogs can sure be annoying, but I could never mistreat one.

I would much rather watch a video of humans being tortured than animals.  I know.  But I can't help it.
