The East Baton Rouge District Attorney said Tuesday that his office didnâ€t bring charges because the childâ€s mother also contributed to the death, by putting the infant in a child seat that wasnâ€t properly belted in. Prosecutors also considered a negligent homicide charge against Brittany Stephens, whose child was killed, because they said she had placed the child in an unrestrained car seat atop the SUVâ€s center console.
District Attorney Hillar Moore III said his office decided not to charge either driver because prosecutors “couldn't really determine†who was responsible “based on the facts of the case and what the law requires.â€
Pursuing the case and issuing a speeding tickets are not the same thing.
Read the article you posted... everything is explained, including the "misdemeanor speeding count against Manuel"
You should have read past that part.
I did. I quoted the article (see the bolded section above). If you'd taken the time to read the article, you'd know the cop was issued a speeding ticket, obliterating your position that a speeding ticket wasn't issued.
Sometimes I think p!tch is just as stupid as 3v. Other times I think 3v is just as smart as p!tch.
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

+1... he has been curb stomped in multiple threads. He'll duck out of this thread because he was embarrassed, not that embarrassing him is difficult.

I don't know if he has mental issues or is simply as dumb as his posts. Probably both.
I found out where p!tch attended school.

Well then, I'm sure you saw this part:
However, prosecutors could have cited Manuel for speeding after dropping the more serious charge, and declined to do so.

You claim the cop wasn't issued a speeding ticket. The article clearly says the cop was issued a speeding ticket.

The part you should have read... "A misdemeanor speeding count against Manuel also expired without action."
