Haskins set all the passing records last year at OSU.  That would be very hard to duplicate AND I would not blame that Purdue loss on him at all. Defense gave up lots of yards and points.

Haskins earned his starting slot over another damn good QB. Haskins was a GREAT college QB and Burrow has yet to take a snap in an NFL preseason game. We'll judge them both in total as the years go by, but in 2018 D Haskins earned his spot and he was friggin AWESOME. No regrets from this fan. I wish Joe the best as well. Of course.

I was laughed at for saying he was better than Haskins.
Burrow is fearless.
2019 Joe Burrow vs 2018 Dwayne Haskins is not the relevant comparison, though I'd still take Dwayne.
How did 2018 Burrow compare with 2018 Haskins?
And you'll get the Purdue loss while Lsu gets the Bama win. Burrow was better in 2018 and much better in 2019.Â
Burrow is lighting up teams like AUB, FLA, Bama, TX. Haskins lit up Rut, MD, NW, but not Purdue.
Haskins had a QB rating of 175 on a one loss OSU team in 2018, while Burrow had a QB rating of 133 on a THREE LOSS LSU team. Congratulations, you may literally be the ONLY person on the planet who thought Burrow was better than Haskins last season.
I do not put much in those stats. Throwing vs Rutgers and Vandy mean squat, but throwing vs TX, AUB, FL, and Bama do. Haskins would not survive those games. He couldn't beat Purdue.

Sometimes I think you get off on saying provocative stuff (nonsense like this, and calling OSU basketball team NIT material) just to get attention.
I wish Joe Burrow all the best and consider him a Buckeye for life. But there's a reason why he's playing college ball 5 years removed from HS and Dwayne Haskins is making millions playing in the big leagues 3 years after leaving HS.

Both Haskins and Burrows were/are very good college qb's and served their teams well. Only one could play. The battle appeared to be a fair battle and the loser of that battle moved on. We lost a year of Haskins due to his early departure. Â
Right now Burrow is the front runner for the Heisman.
What O like best of that game is neither defense scared me.

I was listening to LSU/Bama on the LSU radio feed on Sirius while driving and I felt like I was in Robocop! The broadcast was actually sponsored by-and ads were run for "Patriot Prison Surveillance and Security Systems!!' For all your prison and school security solutions!!!" Prison security and pesticides seem to be the two major industries in Louisiana outside of NOLA tourism.

Burrow will win the Heisman, possibly the National Championship, go 1st round and make coin in the NFL.Â
