1 vote should equal 1 vote. It shouldn't be one vote equals around three votes, as it does in Wyoming, North Dakota and Alaska, I believe.

Volts can be painful if accompanied by enough amperage.

It's simple. All states should have two EC votes. No more, no less. Watch how fast CA and NY start claiming the EC is just fine the way it is.
The America, and the American Military, that you once knew is gone.

I'd go for that in a heartbeat under one condition, such states are free to leave the union. I would then move there and be elated to be rid of the libtards.

Without the electoral college the we would essentially be ruled by California and New York. The hagâ€s popular vote margin was essentially driven by a huge win in California. Our founding my fathers were obviously very wary of the tyranny of the majority and that is why we have a republic and not a direct democracy. Iâ€m very thankful we had such brilliant people founding our nation.

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

The states are in charge of voting.  You cannot trust ALL the states to conduct voting which is totally above board as we've seen from the crooked dems manufacturing votes and watering down registration requirement. Voter fraud is not preventable at 10% accuracy so we have to do with what we have and it seems to be working as well as expected.

The electoral college was one of the compromises made to smaller states to join the union. If the big states want to eliminate that compromise, then the smaller states should be given the opportunity to leave the union.

"California", nor any other state, doesn't get a vote. The people get a vote. Because the EC is so terrible, a vote in Wyoming counts 3x that of a vote in Florida. If I lived in CA, I wouldn't even bother voting in presidential elections. All the EC does is guarantee that half the votes don't count.

NY and CA would become HUGE factors in any popular vote, obviously, as liberals can command large margins, as noted. Those states might go 70:30 and other states end up 55:45 or whatever the other way, and two states would decide it (I didn't do the math, probably have to add NJ and a few others).
