We are pissing in the wind trying to talk any sense into this him...he will always believe heâ€s the smartest guy in the room. That's pretty amusing. Based on what?

Any other ideas?
Sure... do what animals do. Use what mother nature gave you! Heck, I'll even concede a sharpened stick to stab the animal... if you can catch it, of course. Mother Nature gave me a brain that is superior to the animals we have domain over. Hunters brains lead them to financially support the laws, regulations, habitat purchases and preservation that have led to large populations of these animals. Both game and non game animals.
A death by bullet is vastly better than any other death a wild animal can suffer. Is this the same points I met? Yes. My brain was obviously superior to yours. That is why I had domain over you.

Ask a better question. I should have highlighted what I was asking about. Rhetorical anyway.

As usual, your head is squarely up your ass.
Wild game don't have eyes? Ears? Nose? Legs? A far greater understanding of their terrain?
These animals aren't tied to a post and blindfolded just waiting for a hunter to come along and shoot. You clearly have absolutely no clue how hard hunting really is. You're ignorant about quite literally everything you open your mouth about.
With that, I'm done playing your stupid game.
Again... in true sport, both sides have basically the same equipment AND are aware that a game is being played. You have no idea who I am, where I live or anything else. If I knew about where you lived and the general area you traveled and I decided to, for example, sit in a tree, wait for you to walk by and then shoot you, what would you think of me? I don't consider it hunting if you are baiting an animal (or hunting on high-fenced land), that's just shooting. There are some exceptions to the baiting rule, most notably if you are getting rid of nuisance animals...hogs in particular.
100 years ago there were many native game animals on verge of extinction in the US. The people most responsible for their resurgence...ethical hunters. Agree with you 100%. I like to eat bear. Now I wouldn†t shoot one over a garbage pile unless it was with a longbow, cuz I limit myself to a 20-25 yard range with that weapon. And it takes skill to shoot one of those and also to get close enough to your animal. That†s about the only way I†d shoot a bear, but that†s just me. The challenge is as important to me as meat in the freezer.

Well that's because you are not a tool that would encourage a wild animal to eat in a specific place all year long and then, when said animals hunting season opens, show up at the blind at the appointed time and shoot the ***** out of them. Rotten behavior in my estimation and the meat would taste ill-gotten!

I still want to take a deer with a spear (and I have several lethal spears, some of which I†ve made). I had a borderline opportunity tonight with a 6 point buck but had a bow with me instead.  I let those types of bucks walk. I could have taken a doe with a knife several years ago while in a ground blind but alas no blade with me. But I did touch her, just because.
