So for a Field of 64 they are sitting well.Â
This Year like no other anybody can possibly be One and Done.Â
Remember before Virginia Won it all last year , The Year before they were the #1 Overall Seed and Became NCAA BB History by becoming the 1st Team in modern History to lose to a #16 Seed.

I'm disappointed in Liddell.  2 time POY, Mr Basketball, in Illinois and he's really done little inside for Ohio State. IF he was worth anything he'd be strong inside but I've seen him miss tons of shots at point blank.

Iowa looking to blow out Ohio State up 16. The offense by Ohio State is pathetic.

Same old, same old. Turnovers, stupid shots, non-existent basketball IQ. We're not improving, which is on Holtmann.
And I agree with your earlier comment on Liddell....I would expect more offensive prowess from a 2-time Illinois POY.

It's odd but Liddell played a lot tonight and probably had his best game. He should have been playing more this entire season.

It's odd but Liddell played a lot tonight and probably had his best game. He should have been playing more this entire season. This game was weird...we had 9 more offensive rebounds, just as many assists, only 4 more turnovers, they only made one more 3 than we did, and for all intents and purposes, we got blown out. It just seemed like when we could make a run, we would do something stupid four or five times in a row, and Iowa was back in that 12-14 point lead.
Kaleb was horrible tonight...I can't imagine any NBA team drafting him. He gets eaten alive by good opposing centers.
With Kaleb in foul trouble, I think EJ finally started thinking he had nothing to lose and got aggressive, but he still doesn't look comfortable offensively....5 of 11 from the field and one of those was a three and he should never be shooting a three.
We just have too many players (Ahrens, Luther, Walker) who seem to rely solely/mostly on 3's. Andre and DW can fall into that habit as well and if they're not falling, like tonight, it's not good.

4 PM tip off.  I'll post from the event. Maryland a tough opponent and we can only hope at some point Ohio State regains it's sea legs and starts to play like they did earlier in the year.

Impressive game today, especially considering no Carton and a significant chunk of time without Young. A lot of good intensity today. With Young out, they played a lot of the three guard, which is what I've wanted to see, and it worked very well. I hope Young is OK, but I want to see more of the three guard look.
Luther seems to have shrugged off his mid-season shooting slump...definitely the best game of his career when you consider he had the toughest defensive assignments all game.
