I like the effort. Down six and Wesson on the line.  Buckeyes have to keep it close and stop the MSU runs off rebounds and inbounds after scores. Spartans like to kick it and run.

MSU up 7 with under 12 left.  Ohio State needs to keep it within 4 -5 down the stretch to make a run to win this road game.  Winston with 3 fouls.

Just not the day for Buckeyes to win. 10 pt deficit with 7 1/2 left.  Can't stop Winston and can't get the rolls. I like the fight in this club. They don't give up.

I'm dropping this thread in a day or so. Post your thought before I let it go off the important threads section.
My thoughts are this club had a great season, K Wesson had an outstanding year as did CJ Walker. K Young is injury prone more or less but he'll be very good next year and a solid leader. Thanks to A Wesson for a nice four years with Ohio State. I think they will be even better next season.

I think next season could go a number of ways depending on several things:
1) Will KW return...I doubt he will as a few NBA draft projections have him being taken in the 2nd round. Which leads to 2) Will we have a reasonable post presence...it can't just be Young. Will Diallo get good enough in the off season or will Towns be a grad transfer for us. 3) What's up with Gaffney....right now it's a mystery as to what's up with him so will he be a contributor next year as he's one of the few guys with size. 4) How good is Sueing...I hope he puts up at least the same numbers he did prior to transferring 5) Will everyone returning improve...you'd like to think so. If we can resolve 1/2, I think we contend for the B10 title....if not, I'm worried we'll be middle of the pack. If we get the best case scenario from all 5, I think we're a final four team. |
