Michael Slager got 20 years for publicly executing an unarmed man. Let's hope an example is made of this guy and it forces a change in police department policy and lethal force laws.
Lawsuit accuses sergeant of shooting unarmed teen. Police say shooting was justified
A federal civil rights lawsuit filed Tuesday accuses a Fresno police sergeant of shooting an unarmed teenager in the back of the head after he ran from officers during a traffic stop in April last year.
Police have never identified the sergeant who shot 16-year-old Isiah Murrietta-Golding, but the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Fresno says it is Sgt. Ray Villalvazo, a former homicide detective, who is now a supervisor with the departmentâ€s Street Violence Bureau Tactical Team.
The lawsuit accuses police Chief Jerry Dyer, Villalvazo, and the city of Fresno of excessive force, unlawful deadly force, assault and battery, and negligence.
After the lawsuit was filed, Dyer said an internal police investigation determined that “Sgt. Villalvazoâ€s actions were within department policy.â€

Good shooting taking the little puke out with one shot to the head.
The shooting of Murrietta-Golding was justified, Dyer said, because he was wanted for the murder of 19-year-old Eugenio Ybarra that occurred on April, 14, 2017.
A day after Ybarra was killed, Dyer said, Murrietta-Golding ran from a car that had been stopped by police. Officers believed he was armed with a handgun that was used in the killing of Ybarra.
While police were chasing Murrieta-Golding, he “reached into his waistband several times,†Dyer said. After he jumped a fence and entered the rear of a daycare, Murrietta once again reached into his waistband, while looking back at Villalvazo the chief said.
“Fearing he was about to be shot, Sgt. Villalvazo fired one round, striking Murrietta-Golding,†Dyer said.

1. This is not another Slager. This is civil litigation vs a criminal trial. You should know the difference. Sadly, you don't care to be educated.
2. He was wanted for murdering 19-year-old Eugenio Ybarra on April, 14, 2017.
3. The lawsuit was filed 3/2018.
4. Regardless, the pics are pure propaganda. Ridiculous. Laughable.

Generally you let the court system determine punishment. We, well most of us, don't support public execution without a trial.

The key being that he was "believed" to be armed. Of course, none of the cops knew anything and, as always, I'd love for you to explain how a kid running AWAY from you is a threat that necessitates lethal force?

Ok. And? He never pulled anything out of his waistband, so how is he threatening anyone, again?

ha ha! fearing he was about to be shot by who? A guy with no gun in his hand, running away from him? Was there a shooter on the grassy knoll?

So you would prefer that police allow someone they were chasing as an armed murder suspect to enter a day care center?

What a maroon. Self defense isn't "punishment". When confronting a murder suspect who runs and reaches in his pants officers should wait until they get a court ordered "punishment" approved before taking action I guess.

The police didn't know if he was armed nor did they know where he was running. I'm guessing that someone trying to escape police isn't going to run into a building which is a dead end.

Police, like the rest of the citizens of the United States, have the right to defend themselves...when threatened. Can you explain how this kid, running away from the officers, empty handed, is a threat?

A murder suspect refusing to comply with orders reaches into his waist band. That's a threat. The cop reacted to the threat. Too bad so sad. Actually this doesn't have to be explained to people who aren't morons. And can't be explained to people who are morons. So I wasted my time. Your next moronic question will be ignored.
