You've repeatedly said the kid was a threat.  The kid didn't listen to commands (not automatically a threat; not punishable by execution).  The kid touched his waistband a few times (not automatically  a threat; not punishable by execution).

So, what was the actual threat that justified killing him?

You haven't.   Do you know how I know that? Because a person running away from you, empty handed, isn't a threat.

It all goes back to your lack of knowledge of the danger and capability of firearms and other weapons.  We went through this before with knives and how someone 20-25 feet from you with a knife poses an immediate danger.  You watch too much TV and movies.  A murder suspect presumably armed attempting to elude with his hands in and out of his waistband is a major threat.  If he is too stupid to comply then he can be shot and that is what happened.

I'm fully aware of the dangers of firearms. If there was any reason to believe that he was wielding a firearm, I would have no issue with the shooting. However, for the eighth time, a person running away from you, with nothing in his hands, is not a threat. Also, unless I'm mistaken, the kid had just hopped a fence and the cops were on the other side of that fence. So please stop with the knife nonsense. Thanks.

Even if I'm wrong about the fence, the kid was running the opposite direction. If he had a knife, he would have had to have stopped, turned around, and accelerated toward the cop at an insane rate in order for the cop to not have time to shoot him.

This is the dishonesty of what you do.  He was a murder suspect and presumably armed.  You want to present him as an innocent little boy eating Skittles that the police approached and chased and shot for no reason.

I prefer to deal in reality, not  "presumably ". He was a suspect,  not convict.  There was NO evidence that he was armed and, even if he was, he never exposed the gun.

I don't care what kind of person he is, or what he eats, he was NOT a threat to the people who publicly executed him and nobody, even people with difficult jobs, should be permitted to execute people without cause.
