LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky U.S. Senator Rand Paul's chief of staff captured two people confronting the lawmaker as he was eating lunch at a restaurant in California last week.
Paul's deputy chief of staff, Sergio Gor, posted a video of the encounter on Twitter on Oct. 18. The video shows an unidentified woman making an obscene gesture while saying: "You just ran into two people from New York kiddo, and we're not putting up with your Republican bull--!"
In his tweet, Gor said Paul and his group was "verbally assaulted by these aggressive libs complaining about incivility."Â
Senator Paul retweeted the video, saying, "The left blames incivility on Donald Trump. Watch this video and decide who the rude ones are."
It's not clear what happened in the moments before and after the video.Â
A similar incident involving Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell in Louisville made headlines last year when several people confronted the senator and his wife as they ate a meal at a Highlands restaurant.Â

I think Rand just had another surgery for the attack by his neighbor a couple of years ago.

Funny story.  Itâ€s 1989.  Iâ€m a 21 year old clown painting my momâ€s house.  Anyway, before I start I often used “gook†as a catch all back then for: kid, punk, twerp, etc...  Iâ€m guessing it filtered into my lingo from watching movies like Platoon.  Anyway, to the point.  Iâ€m way up on a ladder.  My buddy is on the ground doing something “important†Iâ€m sure, and out of the corner of my eye I see this kid coming our way on his bike.  I started with “whatâ€s up (I begin to turn to the street about here) ya little (now my head is around enough where I can see him) goo...†(this is where I see the Asian family of 4 going on a bike ride.  I got it all out except the K, thank goodness.  I thought my buddy was gonna die right there, either from laughter or embarrassment
Edit:  I forgot to mention that this took place in white bread USA.  The odds against seeing an Asian where I was were astronomical.  Iâ€m talking like maybe 0.1% of the local population.  Thatâ€s another aspect that made it a classic moment
I don't agree with Rand on everything, but anyone that lumps him in with so-called Republicans is a fool.
