If this girl was misled about religion then she was listening to the wrong people. There are thousands of people ready to lead you astray.
She'll answer to her decisions just like we all will have to.
She'll also bow down and confirm that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior at the end of time.

The shaming of sex, biblically speaking, comes from the Old Testament where you're supposed to kill your wife if she's not a virgin on your wedding night. That and man's territorial nature and need to control women. Mormon wives don't have it easy. Link?
13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:

I donâ€t exactly recall the sanctioning of murder of non virgins being mentioned anywhere in the OT.  Donâ€t get me wrong, Iâ€m quite sure it happened; I just donâ€t exactly recall it being in the 10 Commandments or anything. Â
Pitch, where do you get this stuff?

Lol!!!!!!  Well, when is THE most likely time a man would find out his bride isn't a virgin? However, to avoid 'issues, I'll retract the wedding night part.....as though it matters in the slightest.

Mustâ€ve been pecking on my phone when Pitch posted.  Iâ€ll just respond with CONTEXT.  It wasnâ€t codified within the law, so it mustâ€ve involved a specific scenario/time and place.  Iâ€m guessing this was From Leviticus?

Speaking of making ***** up, when did I say the Old Testament applies today? Oh-oh that's right. I didn't. Maybe you should read what I was responding to when I brought up the biblical past.

Jesus Christ death brought about the New Covenant.
Jewish customs were ended when Jesus was killed and rose up.
Just wait 100 years and see how our customs seem to others as being barbarians.

I said the shaming of sex worked its way into some religions.  You claim it was from the OT.  That said I didnâ€t see the shaming of sex itself even in what you cited.  Which, again, is from what book?  The context would be nice as well, but I guess if I care enough I can check that out myself

Because the question of where shaming of sex came from. I'm confused by your confusion.
