Great story. Thanks for posting Zig. Only God knows the heart of man, and whether this manâ€s conversion is true. If it is, his life will show a radical change to those that knew him before, if not, he will be doing the same things he was doing. God knows the heart, but we are known by how we live our lives, and the fruit we bear in it. Itâ€s sad that some people have to get to the depths of despair before they cry out to God for help. But if we ask, (with a true repentant heart), He is faithful and just to forgive us.

Hopefully the young man is sincere and this will last. But this really wasn't a choice, 20 years in prison or two 6 month stints at this ranch thing. There are of course cases where a person is brain washed by some treatment in a certain environment and then when out "on his own" they revert to previous habits and associations.

Statutory Obligation. I know several who chose the military. They retired and have grandchildren. It worked for them.
The America, and the American Military, that you once knew is gone.
