There was a time that was true but not so much anymore.  Just as the younger generations of the average citizen are becoming detached from the idea of a free country, the newer generation of LEO's is not much different.  Many of them have been brainwashed too.

Anecdotes mean that thousands are turning liberal?  Please.  Let me give my anecdotes on this: got plenty of pals on police forces and in military, none liberal.  Does that settle it?  Does not.  Point is you really don't know for certain.
