So . . . lots of Trump people and lots of Democrats were stomping around in Ukraine. Maybe all are corrupt. Maybe only some were. The issue at hand is who committed a crime or impeachable act. Paul Manafort went to prison for some of his Ukraine activities. If Pelosi can be charged with a crime and jailed, I say go for it. Same with Rudy. But that isn't the issue. You can't give Trump a get-out-of-impeachment card simply because other people have had corrupt intent or benign intent for that matter in Ukraine. That stuff is irrelevant.
When Nancy is caught trading foreign aid for personal favors, wake me up. I will be strongly in favor of her removal and prosecution. Same with Joe Biden or anyone else. I'm not naive enough to swear nothing like that happened with any particular politician, but again, that's irrelevant to what Trump did. If that defense worked, nobody from a bad neighborhood would ever go to jail. I don't think that defense works though.

FYI... Paul Manafort was convicted on eight counts of bank and tax fraud... none of the 18 indictments were related to Ukraine or Trump iirc.

I think the Dems are trying to kill two birds with one stone. They want Trump gone of course and I think they won't mind if Biden is taken out in the process. They have gone so far to the left I don't think they really want an old white man like Biden. They know he is lying about his crackhead son and his corruption. But they could accept that. They just can't accept an old white man who is more moderate than the rest of the idiots running. Win win situation.
