Right. Other than agg assault, they're minor.
Being a drug dealer and burglarizing people's homes are not minor crimes, at least not in a sane world. What a bizarre mentality you have just to protect black criminals.
If you're selling drugs to kids, yes.  Otherwise, it's a consensual transaction between two adults.
Burglary: Â unless someone is hurt, you're just taking stuff.
I don't care about color. That's your specialty.
Drug dealers are the lowest form of life.Â
Drug dealers have come in very handy for me on a regular basis and a good one treats it like a business; trying to keep his customers.. Your opinion of drug dealers doesn't change the fact that 99% of the time, it's a transaction between consenting adults.
It's a felony and most drug dealers are involved in other crimes.Â
Legally it's a felony. Being illegal and being wrong or serious aren't synonymous.
Mills is a total and complete scum bag yet you defend him? What a joke.
Wow... you made it through most of the daylight hours without dragging the strawman out back and sodomizing it. Baby steps....
Your drug habit/addiction not only damages your ability to think rationally, it also works to cause you to justify breaking laws because you don't like them. Of course, when it comes to your social justice causes, you throw all that out the window and obeying the law becomes paramount.

THAT is one hell of a string of BS, right there.

It would be segregation and only segregation if felons didn't forfeit certain rights while segregated and, depending on the state, some of the rights may be restored over time while some rights are never restored.
Rights convicted felons [may] forfeit... - Voting
- Traveling abroad
- The right to bear arms or own guns
- Jury service
- Employment in certain fields
- Public social benefits and housing
- Parental benefits

A lot of that is they're outcasts and not decent citizens so they don't have the rights decent people have. Personally I'd give every felon life. ID them and put them away. Make the world a better place.

The Guyger jury obviously sympathized w/ her circumstances, while simultaneously affirming her guilt. The other jury thought the defendant was an azzhole and threw the book at him for 99 years. Not much more to it than that. Guyger's jury was mostly black and female, so that boded well for her getting a lighter sentence, despite the guilty verdict-those kinds of juries tend not to throw the book as hard at defendants. If you get a jury w/ 12 HTs or 3rd gens on it, you are pretty much f****d when it comes to sentencing, if the jury has a say, like these juries did.

There are plenty of folks serving time in the pokey for felony DUI in virtually every state. In Michigan, if someone receives a 3rd DUI in their life, it is an automatic felony, even if the previous DUIs were in other states.
That said, life for every felony is fiscally insane, to put it mildly........

Repeat violent offenders, drug dealers with multiple convictions, and burglars with multiple convictions should never see the outside of a prison again. Also need to start prosecuting more violent teens as adults. Putting these people in prison for relatively short periods of time accomplishes nothing and just puts more stress on the system.

Yep. Eff them. People that risk the lives of all the people including children around them. Find them and cut them out of society like the cancer they are. Only a small minority commits most of the crimes. You obviously have committed felonies. Decent people haven't.
