Except they are now part of our country and we are stuck with them and their descendants. Just what we need.

Moreover, the huge inflow of foreign visa workers — and expanding loss of young American graduates — is gradually filling middle-management and leadership teams with foreign-born executives.
There is a growing volume of anecdotal reports and courtroom evidence that Indian managers at U.S. companies and subcontractors prefer to hire Indians, usually by covertly discriminating against better-qualified American applicants.

These visa programs allow U.S. companies to keep an army of roughly 1.5 million foreign graduates — including roughly 800,000 Indian graduates — for a wide variety of jobs across the United States. Most visa workers will work for low wages in the hopes that their employers will provide them with the hugely valuable prize of green cards.

But the Great Replacement is just a conspiracy theory they say.

Fortunately, right now, unemployment is quite low, and even lower in tech related jobs.
One wonders what would happen if magically all these "Indians" disappeared.
An American with a decent resume and degree in a STEM field isn't going to struggle to find a job with rare exceptions.

IBM actually pays for their housing, transportation and meals in Dallas while forcing IBM employees in NJ/DE/PA/NY to be in the office in Armonk, NY at least once a week. These folks are doing this to frustrate folks into leaving. I talked to a dude and a dudette who ride the train together. They spend close to $150 once a week out of pocket to be in the office once a week. When I told them about the Indians having everything paid for in Dallas they looked at me with suspicion. When another IBM dude confirmed it, they asked how I knew before them. I told them I ride the train so often, I meet a lot of IBM folks. I actually gave two IBMers several round trip tickets I keep in my wallet in case of emergencies. We have passes.
I feel bad for these folks. They are being crapped on and have no other choice but to 'deal' with it.

This is easy to complain about until you review resumes and do interviews and realize there are few Americans out there who really are qualified.
Oh, and they were compensated exactly the same in each case, so I was not saving money.
Too many minority / gender studies degrees out there.
The the company I work for was able to salvage certain projects and salvage a number of American jobs by outsourcing some functions to the Philippines. Because of language barriers , there are certain things that oversees workers won't be able to do, and there are some jobs that we tried outsourcing, but had to bring back to the US, at least partially.

My neighbor has a master's degree in computer science. He can't get a job because the guys interviewing are Indian. Odd, some of his classmates at Rutgers were very weak compared to him but they seem to get hired at the same companies he isn't. They are Indian.
Nepotism.
I'd go to SE Asia and work there while living like a king. Instead, he worries about what his family would think. He's not a closer, he's a pu$$y.

Maybe in the medical field where the industry is understaffed with Docs Nurses and Techs but in high tech there are plenty of US educated engineers that have capabilities to do the job.
A quarter of what any group hires are duds anyway, just like misses in football recruiting
Do you have any proof for what you claim above?
Are you in a position to hire engineers? Let me guess what the answer is....

Last sentence is spot on.
As for your middle paragraph, if that happened I (and my company) would be completely screwed. I'd quit on the spot and look for a job where i could succeed
