Official ZIGBEE College Football Playoff Prediction Thread.

Lots of excitingly average football being played out there the first 1/3 of the season

Yeah, it's even worse being a diehard fan of one of the teams playing. I know Iowa is one of those teams that will always play smart and hard, but man UM's offense was awful. Kudos to the defense.

Florida defeats Auburn at home 24-13 in a battle of Top 10 teams.  Gators travel to LSU next week for another stern test.  If they survive that one they will be knocking at the door.  They host Georgia 11/2.

1.  Alabama
2.  Ohio State
3.  Georgia
4.  Clemson

We will return next week .   Cool

The results are in and here they are.  No change from last week.  The top 4 hold their positions even though only 2 of the 4 saw action this week.

1.  Alabama
2.  Ohio State
3.  Georgia
4.  Clemson

Rain delay, traditional whipping post opponent, looking ahead to Texass.  Gave KU an early td, then OU went ahead 42-7 (or did you forget that?)  OU gave Kansas 2 late 4th quarter td's with OU's scrubs in.
It was not their best effort, had they done that it would have been more like 72-7.
a lot will be learned this Saturday.

Sooners need more than just a close win at Texas.  Needs to be solid.

Why is that?  Texas is #11 in country.  What do you consider solid?

I just don't see Texas as the 11th best team in the country just as I don't think Michigan State was a top 25 team.  Their best performance was probably a loss to LSU.  I think OU needs to win by a couple of touchdowns especially coming off a weak game against Kansas.  OU's schedule is bad and we can't reward them for so-so performances against mediocre teams.   Dodgy

I don't have an issue with any lists.   If someone doesn't like the HighTop list submit an amended one.  Where should Oklahoma be?  I don't have any idea because you really can't gauge these clubs much in my opinion.  Who would have guessed Clemson beats Alabama to death last year?   Or Purdue hammers Ohio State?

OU has a chance to move up as teams in the SEC and Big 10 will start beating up each other.  But they have to win games and not just slide past bad competition.  I moved Clemson back to the 4th spot after a really bad performance against North Carolina.

1.  OU would curb stomp Clemson, as would several other teams.  they are not that good, but unfortunately play no one.  If you are going to penalize for bad competition, you should move them out of the top 25.
2.  A 25 pt win, on the road, after giving up 14 garbage time points, is hardly sliding by.
3.
1. OSU
2. Alabama
3. Georgia
4. OU
and vice versa

Curb stomp?  Oh come on.  We've heard that crap before about Clemson around here just before a severe beat down took place.  Smile

Well its very possible they will get a shot at Clemson in the play off.  I think both Clemson and OU are good bets to make it because neither really plays any high quality teams that could knock them off.

Florida, still unbeaten, just beat Auburn head to head yet they have Auburn 6 and Florida 10?

If you look at each poll above (roundtable, Sorenson, Oscar, etc) this is the average of all of the polls including SOS. It changes week to week kind of neat to look at.

"Severe beatdown?"  You mean in overtime?  You are destroying what little credibility you have left.
Did you even watch the Clemson game last week?  They are not that good.  Should not be in the top 4 for sure.  But with only cupcakes on their schedule they will be in.
