Earlier this month, Joe Biden told Fox News in Iowa that he never discussed his sonâ€s foreign business dealings with him.
“I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,†Biden said, pointing the finger at President Trump. “I know Trump deserves to be investigated. He is violating every basic norm of a president. You should be asking him why is he on the phone with a foreign leader, trying to intimidate a foreign leader. You should be looking at Trump.â€
Hunter Biden told The New Yorker previously that he and his father had spoken “just once†about his work in Ukraine.
A source told Fox News the photo was taken in August 2014. Contemporaneous news reports indicated the vice president was in the Hamptons at the time.
Hunter Biden and Archer joined the Burisma Holdings board in April 2014.
Earlier this month, Trump suggested that despite his claims, Joe Biden seemingly discussed Ukraine matters with his son. The White House has sought to point to possible corruption by the Bidens, amid the House Democrats' formal impeachment inquiry against the president.

They just talked about grandchildren...
Apparently, Democrats do that a lot. Trafficking grandchildren maybe.

Dems still have not defined what Trump did in breaking any laws.  McConnell says the senate will follow constitution but will not drag out this trial and it will be over quickly.

I'd guess the "inquiry" will attempt to specify laws being broken, that probable one being seeking foreign help to smear a political rival for political gain.
Use of your government office for personal gain is illegal. The "gain" part usually has meant financial gain, in the past.
If I accept all the information as being accurate, it's hard to see a hard line between a "quid pro quo" and what Trump requested (as a favor). One can infer it of course, I need this favor or your military aid if gone, but that is a soft connection. And the aid was apparently released before the Ukrainians knew it was held up.
Yes, if they impeach, which is not certain, the trial will be focused and short and done and the vote will be highly partisan.

To me there is a clear line between digging up political dirt on your rival and asking for an investigation of corruption.  And then the real kicker here is that we still havenâ€t determined who Trumpâ€s rival even is in this large field.  I never thought it would be Biden anyway.  Scandal or not. Â
Ya really got to hand it to the left.  They commit a likely “crime†of some sort, and if you look into it you are “digging up dirt to influence an election.† Lol.  Tell me they didnâ€t focus group the ***** out of that one. Â
And of course the best part is the MSM.  How do they ever recover from this?  You tell them the sky is blue.  You even take them outside to show them, and they still maintain itâ€s red—like them.  Once the smoke clears on this presidency, and these media organizations are forced to clean house (their numbers will really tank once Trump rides off into the sunset).  How do you hire any of these buffoons?  If you watch, the smarter ones are slowly starting to let off the gas a little.  Chuck Todd, on the other hand, just put the accelerator through the floor.  I wonder who the Thelma to his Louise would be.  Maybe Joe Scarborough.

The lines are not clear, but that isn't really important in this.

When you seemingly have evidence of a *likely* quid pro quo (Biden's phone call), vs a dossier about hookers urinating all over a bed, etc, etc, etc... Yeah, to me the lines are pretty clear. But, yeah, that could just be me.

Things that matter:
1. Will anything else crop up?
2. When will the House vote to impeach?
3. What will be that result?
4. If they impeach, what are the odds of conviction? (Hint, near zero).
5. What are the political ramifications of all of this for 2020?
If the vote to convict is 55-45, Trump will have sustained some damage I expect, if it's 45:55, he probably will be strengthened.

Looks like they're going to employ the same playbook they used against Kavanaugh.
Keep rolling out more "whistleblowers" until something has the potential to stick...
"A second intelligence official who was alarmed by President Trump†s dealings with Ukraine is weighing whether to file his own formal whistle-blower complaint and testify to Congress, according to two people briefed on the matter."
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/...ar-AAIiWJo
Well, there might a 2nd whistleblower so it must be true...
Let's forget no complaint has been filed, but MSM will refer to this person as a whistleblower anyway.
And, this possible 2nd whistleblower will corroborate the whistlebloewer who didn†t hear the call or read the transcript?
We†ve seen/read the transcript.
What's left to corroborate?
Whisky? Tango? Foxtrot?

Well, here we go yo-yo-ing again. Of course we all knew this stuff was coming, but still. Crazy ride this is.
