I actually disagree...they are going to drag their feet as long as possible to get the real impeachment hearings started so they can keep up the schtick during election season

They will of course have their "inquiry" (which was already extant) and gauge how it's going politically and in the media.  If they count the votes to impeach, they will forward A of I soon thereafter.  If they don't, they will run clock, and probably claim Trump is preventing them from doing their job.

The Senate, despite what that flake claims, won't be anywhere near 67 votes, maybe 45, unless something else surfaces.

Can they run clock until the election?  Maybe, but their base will be livid by then, it's over a year off.  What if the House doesn't approve the A of I?  Major bad news.

A reminder to federal officials: There is no limit on the number of individuals who can use the whistleblower statute. If you think you were involved in unlawful activity as a result of a directive from Mr. Trump or someone doing his bidding, now is the time to report it.

Just got home.  Love catching those top of the hour news reports on the radio.  Anyway, apparently our boy Beto made some news today when he said that's it time for the president to resign.  He said the GOP should sit down with the president like they did with Nixon (paraphrasing) and tell him this is his only real path.  i.e.  Talk some sense into him.  


We are to the point now where Democrats believe that they can speak stuff into existence.  Someone wake me up, this ***** can't be real.
