Did you also familiarize yourself with the Journal of Discourses? Which was your favorite volume?
Do you think that the only ways to familiarize yourself with a religion is to watch South Park or read that religions official doctrine from cover to cover?
The sermon books aren't "official doctrine"Â
Of course you knew that, having spent so much time familiarizing yourself with the religion.
So you randomly read about the story of Adam-Ondi-Ahman from some mysterious non-South Park related source? Well that's convenient. I guess I can't quiz you on anything outside of that story specifically.Â
So what was Cain supposed to sacrifice, what did he sacrifice instead, and who put him up to it? Surely you can recall this key detail, as you were able to retain a far less significant one.
Or, if you're interested in reality (clearly debatable)....
I moved from Ohio to Arizona when I was 9 or 10. There were no Mormon churches in Ohio at that time. At least not in my small town. The church that we went to in Arizona had a group called concerned Christians which was a group that studied the beliefs of Mormonism and expressed their concern, given that they consider themselves to be Christian. Around that same time, I did a lot of reading about Mormonism and have dunmore periodically over the years.
a very good friend of mine is an ex Mormon. His dad was a professor at BYU. I've discussed Mormon beliefs with him often.
So, once again, stop making ***** up, as though you know something when you don't.
Oh okay. So the only detail of that story that you can recall is the one that they happened to crack a joke about on South Park. Well that is an amazing coincidence. In that case you ought to be a little more understanding of my confusion.Â
Since everyone is no doubt on the edge of their seat waiting with baited breath, the answer is a male lamb without blemish, vegetables, and Lucifer.
or, given the title of the thread, pointing out their belief that the garden of Eden is in the United States seemed relevant, topical and funny. However, as I've said multiple times, keep talking ***** as though you know something that you don't. It continues to be very entertaining.

The American Church does a tremendous amount of good, yet I canâ€t help thinking the system is set up for abuse. No taxes, no accountability, and perceived trustworthiness seems to lend itself to abuse.
Maybe Franklin Graham is honorable, but dual salaries and 7 figure incomes for the work of his dad reminds me of this case. He might not be abusing kids, but he is abusing the idea of serving God. He is using God for personal gain.
The reality is that Church is big business, without the checks and balances. At least Businesses handle this with a firing of the boss. Pope still has a job.
When an organization gets its eyes off of it's charter purpose/mission statement and begins to focus on short sighted goals, it will fail.
Applying to the Christian Church, when it stops focusing on the Bible and its instruction and begins to focus on material/worldly goals, it will fail. Â And that is what we are seeing happen in the American Church.

Joseph Smith was an absolute con man. You got that 100% correct.

Or, if you want to read what I wrote, I specifically said they were none in my small town. My Town had less than eight thousand people at the time. There were no Mormon churches there and there were none, that I knew of, in any of the surrounding towns. When we moved here from from Ohio, we did not know what a Mormon was.

I can't recall any Kirtland murders, but I don't remember every detail. Most of the frontier justice was administered in Missouri. Joseph Smith was martyred in Illinois.
The name Kirtland reminded me of the murders. It didn't have anything to do with Mormons. I should have mentioned this when asking about Kirtland.Â

Never seen anyone get their panties in a knot over being called a South Park fan.
Excellent strawman...and lie! Keep up the good work.
You must really hate that show to become completely unglued like this.Â
who's coming unglued? Just because I'm not letting you get away with flat-out lying, doesn't mean I'm coming unglued. I loved South Park. I used to record it on my VCR and give the tapes out to friends to watch because I thought it was so good.
I will have to remember that. I seem to have stumbled upon your Achilles heel.
As you've proven repeatedly today, you will believe/remember whatever you want, regardless of whether is based in reality.

That sounds like a rebuttal that was inspired by South Park.
It's inspired by engaging with somebody as dishonest as you.

As much as I'd like to have some spiritual conversations with you and a few others, within 2 pages the whole thing becomes a troll dumpster fire.
Btw, I take we lost Golden with all the moving around?
