I run up on people lacking in common sense most days.  But not to this depth.......the people I see have issues with driving, knowing proper dress for going to the store, etc.  Not in recognizing that one shouldn't use a drone in IRAN!  Seriously, people.....

That is something Ala. A drone can get you in trouble in the USA much less Iran. 
When I travel to t other countries I check on things. I'm going on vacation next month. I checked on some things. No drones. Don't take pics of government facilities or security forces. No camo. The camo thing was a good thing to know as I'll be in the country and shooting wildlife wearing those kind of colors. You check. Even if you're going to Canada or Switzerland you check. When I saw they got into trouble for a drone my response was WTF? Seriously?

People post videos on YouTube; one of the most popular is drone footage. Many have no idea a drone might need to be registered with the FAA. I doubt they have a clue what a foreign country might require.

I have a drone which still sits in its box unopened - right next to the iPhone X - I live in the perfect area for using it, but I do not want another part of my life to be regulated by the government. $2,500 birthday gift. I'm waiting for a long time friend to visit next month, so he can take it with him to IL. He has a farm and could actually use it for something better than posting on YouTube.

People simply think rules from back home apply. I'd love to see the MJ folks bring their stash to Singapore.

Christian lite-rock type bands. Regular rock shows are extraordinary places to see really dumb people in their natural environment, depending on the type of show. Jam band/hippie shows are the best.

We have a drone we have only occasionally used for our business to get video of building sites. Itâ€s grounded right now due to the upcoming 70th anniversary of the birth of the Communist government of China. A guy in the office bought a small drone for his kids to play. He said heâ€s he has received three phone calls from the local police station to not fly it before or during the celebration of the 70th anniversary. He says he bought it online, so apparently that purchase was monitored by the government.

I see them at  Outdoor Concerts i'm guessing the Bands PR people are taping the show. they make me uneasy when they fly directly at you overhead. 
Keep thinking some deranged teen is going to figure out how to arm one and takeout 1,000 people or so raising the bar for the next lunatic.
