Various pundits have discussed how they doubted any convictions of the deep state will happen as the trials will be in D.C. All lib juries and justices. Here is the first case. Jurors stating things like "Well, he stepped right up to the line and maybe went over it, BUT...……"

Yup. I never trusted the way a jury is setup. I laugh when I hear somebody say "Tried by their peers". I have a difficult time believing juries resemble the accused background. The 18 year old hood rat is not the Ivy educated woman's peer. Nor is the 72 year old granny who married right out of HS and has never worked day in her life the CEO of IBM's peer.Â
No matter how much people want to accept or believe the peer burfle, it's not remotely close to reality.

The prosecutors are part of deciding who gets on the jury.

And the same prosecutors present evidence to grand juries to get indictments. It's all rigged from the start.

The prosecutors run the grand jury. The rules? No rules. They can lead a witness and tell them the answer to questions. The system is rigged from top to bottom. Personally, I'd hire Yakuza to do my justice.

How fair is the current setup? Do you feel the justice system treats everybody equally?

As an agent, I loved testifying before grand juries. It was my stage and I knew exactly what lines to recite to elicit the questions I wanted asked and to sway toward the direction I wanted. The prosecutor would set the table for me and away we would go. The people on the GJ were mostly just ordinary citizens wanting to do the right thing and all I did was help them along to that end. And yes, it is one sided but the reality is, at least at the federal level, a prosecutor is unlikely to use this tool with a weak case.

How fair is the current setup? Do you feel the justice system treats everybody equally? What I think is this: nothing is perfect in this world as we are in a world of imperfections with life among humans. Is there corruption? Probably in SOME cases, but most cases you do see justice.

I get why it's setup this way, but for those who are not going to plea out it's unfair.

This is why I would choose to have Yakuza represent me. I prefer to have the upper hand and not play in a rigged system. Yakuza does not discriminate.

That's possible but typically you have to indict them before they will enter into a plea agreement. That is how most of my cases went. My biggest cases would go up until days before the scheduled trial before they would plead out.

One juror remarked after the verdict: "What infuriates me, is that the special counsel wasted so much time on an issue like this one, while the republic itself is under assault."
Yep, now the jury is tainted. Soon, we'll not have a jury worthy to render any kind of a judgement.
