NYC is now down to 32% whites and dropping.  They will continue to elect more nitwits like DeBlasio or worse with their new demographics.  The next mayor might even be an AOC clone since Hispanics are nearly 30% of the NYC population.

The LA and Phoenix numbers scare me. Just went to two Dbacks games against the Dodgers. Lots of Dodgers fans. Incredibly rude and trashy. Lots of obvious gang types. Canâ€t the LA people just walk into the sea and off themselves instead of infesting decent communities and screwing them up too? I certainly donâ€t enjoy going to a nice place like Chase Field and finding myself surrounded by the trash you normally see at Dodger stadium.

Add 3 to the NYC list. 18 month and counting...
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

I would consider moving to Atlanta or Tampa if I was moving around in the US. Outside chance I would consider Phoenix or Austin. But would not move to any of the rest.

Interesting perhaps that Boston is growing.  It makes some sense that the largest would be declining the most on an absolute basis.  People are moving south.  Duh.

I would consider Boston. Iâ€ve been there many times for work, conferences, and tourism. But boy, of the folks I know there, probably the most liberal Iâ€ve ever met. I just keep my mouth shut when they talk politics, I feel more comfortable speaking about my views in China than in Boston.

I would say that Boston is the only liberal city that actually is able to function.

My hunch is that the old school Dem union types still hold sway.  All those Sullys don't mind actually working/getting their hands dirty.  Just a matter of time before those guys die off and Boston turns into the wonderful lib experiment of other large US cities.

Whites still control Boston politics.  Yes they are liberal but true dysfunction enters the picture when blacks have more political power.  They will get there some day.

Boston has a lot of wealth and highly educated folks, like the doctor we stayed with when we visited.  The weather is not to my liking and the taxes as taxing.  I guess I'm cheap.  Cost of living is important to me.  I can visit expensive places.

I must admit it's not really that cheap here, I just wrote a check for property tax that was painful.

San Francisco is similar, a very vibrant city from what I could see with some "issues".  The weather is much better and the COL is off the charts.
