Even if it ends up being a letdown (it wonâ€t) it wonâ€t be a letdown.  Gilligan and Gould donâ€t just mail stuff in.  Iâ€m expecting a great story.

Iâ€m guessing weâ€ll get this and the last season or 2 of BCS, and that will wrap errr up.

I expect it to be awesome. Writers are too good . We had the closure we needed, but didn't want. We already know Jesse hangs out and goes back to Badger and Skinny Pete.

Reeeeeally looking forward to the "are you ready?" scene.  What does it pertain to, and who the heck is he talking to?  There's no one left to go after, so I don't see a protective custody angle (Jessee willingly going in with the DEA).  Hmmmmmm...   [Image: emoji848.png]

Gonna float a theory  on who I think Jessee is digging up — Drew Sharpe.  I think Jesse is gonna go on a “get right” tour and this is all part of it.  Perhaps when he is done setting everything right the “are you ready?” Is a DEA guy ready to then take him in.  Or...  maybe something else.   Big Grin

Watched this afternoon.  You won't be disappointed at all.  A home run.  I won't give any specifics/spoilers other than to say that Todd is reeeeeeeeeeeeally a #####d up individual (which we already knew, but...  man... ), and the movie was totally Jesse centric.  IMO it left a door open for possible future flicks.  That said, I think it could end here and I would be fine with it, but the fanboy in me always wants more.

Anyway, very well done.  Major [Image: emoji106.png]

Yeah, I guess he died the day the movie premiered.  Crazy.

I'm going to float one tease and it's not remotely a spoiler at all.  All I have to say is that you will never remember Sharing the Night Together by Dr Hook the same ever again.  My bet is that that scene is already a meme/gif somewhere.

I just watched it. Nostalgic. Will post my thoughts later.

Some initial thoughts, I will add more and will watch it again.

Positives:
-Really felt like a dream/flashback and I was watching BB again.
-Loved the Jesse and Jane scene
-Loved the Walt and Jesse scene at the diner. (Personal thing, but I was recently talking with someone about how much I love pineapple, I LMAO when Jesse said "what ***** doesn't like pineapple"? Reminded me of that conversation.)

Negatives:
-Didn't like so much focus on Todd
-Didn't like how Skinny Pete and Badger just kind of disappeared in the movie
-The shootout was really stupid and unnecessary
-Todd's spider, I know why they put that in there obviously. F*** making me look at a spider again.

Other thoughts/questions/things to ponder:
-Weird they brought back that welder dude in such a large role (don't remember him from BB)
-Why did the "get away" guy go through border security twice? (Into Canada and then back into the USA)
-How did Jesse get in the news so quickly? I guess they could have finger printed the meth lab, but his name wouldn't have been out hours later/early next morning.
-This does leave the door open for another movie or mini-series
-Kind of funny/trolling by the writers, but that teaser we got with skinny Pete at the police station was never used
-Funny when Walt said Jesse should study Business/Marketing at college... "You could basically teach the class"
-Weird that Lydia isn't dead, but sick

I thought they did a great job with the flashbacks, but I ironically thought the Walt/Jesse one seemed forced.  Though I did get a chuckle out of Jesse saying he actually graduated high school...  DICK.

I LOVED the Todd stuff.  Really filled in the background on him.  It wasn't that he was simply a loyal soldier all along; it was that he truly was a ####ed up individual.  One thing I noticed as a potential Easter Egg was the manner in which he killed the housekeeper.  Was exactly how Jesse eventually did him in.  Some payback for her perhaps?

Agree about Badger and Skinny Pete.  Thought maybe we'd see Badger dump the car and hitch hike home.  Man, Skinny Pete sure had a lot of cops heading to his joint!

The shootout was dumb, but what I took from it was that cocaine truly is one helluva drug.

I don't think the welder ever was in BB.  Maybe he was, but I don't recall him.

As for going through border security twice (I never really noticed that part), I'm guessing he went due north into Canada and then due west into Alaska?

My guess on Jesse being in the news is that he was probably already in the news, especially after Hank and Steve Gomez turned up missing/dead.  The fact Walt returned, shot up the compound, and Jesse not being one of the dead bodies probably only rekindled the manhunt.

Yeah that scene at the cop station never happened.  WTH?

As for Lydia, they made it sound like she was at death's door though.

Maize, being you're so young in comparison to most of us means that you couldn't really appreciate that Dr Hook song (Sharing the Night Together) like us older guys.  I'll never be able to hear that again without picturing Todd surfing air waves with his hand while driving his murder victim to her burial site.

Lastly, I LOVED seeing the junkyard constitution scholar make an appearance.  That was a great touch.  Seeing him spooked by that Lojack was pretty funny.
