Well Mormons have been around almost as long as this country, and so far none of them have cherry picked a verse about Indians out of context in order to justify their refusal to do business with blacks. Now if it ever happens I'll be glad to come here and eat crow, but in the mean time we can chalk this up as another 3VFail.
Look, I am sorry that you and your partner are having a little trouble finding a wedding cake, but the entire premise of your dumb hypothetical is absurd on so many levels.

I see this "debate" has crossed over into another realm involving person insults.
Welp, as a Christian that's done over fifty wedding videos... I never knew wedding videos would become a topic of great discussion.
Well... some discussion and a lot of anger, insults and hurt feelings.
Some things never change around here. Oh well.

Lol...am I on candid camera? Racial discrimination is illegal, even if your religion was justification for it. That's the entire point.  Christians, as it pertains to gays, want to be able to discriminate.

Yep, it's such a reach to say that a holy book, that claims dark skin is a curse from God, could be used to discriminate. Almost as crazy as saying that gayness being a sin could used to not make them baked goods...

When you resort to insults you lose the argument.  Over and done.

Cool, you should have quit four pages ago.Â
Lol at you bellyaching endlessly about something that has never happened, and that is no longer even part of their canon.

Also by declaring that male homosexuality is an "insult" you are essentially admitting that it is an undesirable attribute.

Where did I declare that?

" Â that is no longer even part of their canon"
Your willful ignorance and complete inability to see the point just keeps pulling me back in.
It does NOT matter if it's part of the mormon church's canon. It is in their doctrine and, with 100% certainty, could be used as the basis for discrimination. It does not matter if it's recognized in the church. It does not matter if YOU THINK any mormon would use it. It does not matter that a mormon would be excommunicated if they refused service to a black. Absolutely no opinion you have expressed matters one bit if people were allowed to racially discriminate based on religious beliefs, because there is NO DOUBT AT ALL the mormon doctrine, in the hands of the right person, could be used as religious basis for racially discriminating. All other tap dancing and deflecting does not change that.
