HUGE risk in my mind.  Incredible what people risk over sex.

And it's always men portrayed as the horn dogs.  Don't let women fool you.  They're just better at hiding it.  Unless of course they're teachers and they're getting caught all the time.   Wink

Been meaning to post this... Whisky. Tango. Foxtrot.

Nationwide is selling "pet insurance" Pet insurance... {insert Allen Iverson's "practice" tirade}.
Pets. as in dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, etc etc etc??? Large animals: horses, cattle, pigs... I understand the need.
But, pet insurance? People actually need pet insurance? When did this happen?
How much does heart worm medicine or treating your cat's alopecia cost these days?

You obviously don't own Pets.
a surgery for a dog can cost upwards of $10,000 dollars.
Believe me you own a pure bred dog the medical bills can be staggering.
I'm a certified trainer as I believe K9buck is.
I've heard of and seen many dogs who suffer Hip Dysplasia's , Allergies ( Which are more and more prevalent now a days, Sciatic nerve issues, Torn ACL's that  all require numerous vet visits, surgeries, Medicine and Specific Expensive foods to treat the entire life of a dog, totaling in the thousands of dollars in out of pocket expenses.
Not even touching Dogs who are injured by being struck by cars or involved in a malicious attacks by other dogs at say a Dog Park or on a walk.
One of my GSD's tore her nail on her front paw just exiting her cage which she had done a hundreds of times. The X-rays and treatment alone set us back a few $$$$ Thankfully our vet loved that dog as much as we did and cut us break on many of her follow up visits and treatments.

Pets cost money.   I don't own one but the oldest son does and he really can't afford it.

We just got a dog.  First time since like 2004 that we've had a pet.  We got a double doodle (Golden Doodle + Labordoodle mix).  A puppy.  My youngest will be 13 this year so everyone will be pitching in.  We've had him for about a month now.    Great dog...  so far.   Puppies keep ya hopping though.  He's about 12 weeks old now.  He seems to be settling into a nice routine.   Cool

I pretty much house broke the dog who stays with us by using treats for going outside.  VERY SMART dog.   The rewards always work more than a rolled up paper.  I learned rewards work better by using rewards for students.

Pets cost money, this I know. We had dogs and horses. Vet comes and does his thing. You pay them. Pet insurance for household pets? Absurd... but that's just me.

Yup.  My teacher wife is big on the positive reinforcement thing.  I caught him taking a dump on the carpet last week and my go-to move was to yell and scare the ***** out of him.  My wife naturally came to his rescue.  The reward system is the long term solution.  That said, now I catch the little twerp fake peeing just so he can get his little treat.  Who's the master again?   Big Grin

You're right though, the reward system is definitely the way to go.  It's mostly working well so far.   Cool

Yeah I'm not forking out another monthly bill for a dog.  If he has issues I'll simply pay as I go.

Democrat presidential candidate billionaire Michael Bloomberg, who spends tens of millions of dollars pushing for extreme gun control laws, demonstrates that he knows literally nothing about firearms.pic.twitter.com/SCjpNdQm6h — Ryan Saavedra (@RealSaavedra) November 7, 2019

McFadden: Isn't it difficult to define what is an assault weapon?
Bloomberg: If it can fire a lot of bullets very quickly... that's a good place to start. Let's say three... [he rambles on about deer hunting].

McFadden: That would ban most pistols.
Bloomberg: No, pistols are different. You must pull the trigger each time. Assault weapons, you hold the trigger and {makes auto gunfire sound}.

McFadden: No, those are fully automatic weapons. So fully automatic {interrupted}...
Bloomberg: If you have a big magazine, you'll solve your problem. You still have to pull the trigger... miss 30 bullets or 10 before you run out...

McFadden: Some say all you do is take away guns from good guys and the bad people {interrupted}
Bloomberg: No. The [stats] show if you have a gun in the home, you are 22-times more likely to shoot a family member or friend as somebody breaking in... don't try to go for a gun... with a gun pointed at you, you think you are able to out-shoot them... that's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.

Says the guy who travels with an armed security team. The hypocrisy is thick and gooey. I can't wait for him to enter the fray.

Any wagers on his being protected by men carrying guns?

Most seniors - at least those who did something with their lives - have more money than most. These same seniors whining would not hesitate to take a seat from a younger person on a train or the senior discount at the local food mart.

Convicted sex offender no longer deemed threat because of gender change... https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/...479275002/

The Iowa Attorney Generalâ€s Office is no longer seeking the commitment of a former Midwest Christian Services student convicted of myriad sex crimes because the individual now identifies as a woman.

Court records show the state dismissed the application on Jan. 9. Attorney general spokesman Lynn Hicks wouldnâ€t comment on the reason for the dismissal other than to say “an offenderâ€s hormone levels are an important part of substantiating an offenderâ€s likelihood of recidivism.”

In November, the Storm Lake Times reported that Joseph Matthew Smith, a 23-year-old convicted of molesting a fellow MCS student in 2014, was “undergoing medical treatment that is needed prior to (Smith) potentially undergoing gender reassignment surgery.”

Smith has received treatment for gender reassignment over the past two years at Newton Correctional Facility. She first expressed a desire to “get started on transgender classification” in October 2017 and started using female pronouns.
