Does not all these groups whether it be communists under Mao in China, or Castro in Cuba, or Stalin in Russia, or Hitler with his NAZIsm or Mussolini with his Fascist party all begin as thinking they have the right answers to the ills of their nation?
These radical groups want to change the constitution.  Take away the second amendment, do away with the electoral college, restrict the first amendment, attack and beat the hell out of those of dissent.

They want to protect freedom by taking away a person's right to think beyond what they believe in.  So what if they hate certain races? So what if they have ideas that don't match yours?  ALL have a right to an opinion and all have a right to assemble and voice those opinions.  Want to change government? Do it peacefully at the ballot box.

Zig, I think it's a mindset that has always existed.  Their mindset from many leftists is that they're right, they know they're right and, therefore, they are in the right to prevent you from spreading your wrong, hateful and dangerous ideas.  They cannot allow you to lead some non-enlightened person in the wrong direction.  Additionally, in order to stop you, they must pressure your employers, advertisers, etc. to ostracize you from society.  Social media should also ban you.  Only opinions that match theirs can be expressed.

Classical liberals were all about the individual and freedom.  Modern liberals are all about empowering the state as long as they are left alone to practice whatever sexual perversion they can come up with.  That's more or less it.  These people would be fine with Hitler (sans the Holocaust of course) as long as they were allowed to wear their chaps in public.  That's basically the gist of their concerns regarding freedom.

This is best give-and-take discussion that I've heard in years.  Morgan's analysis of the modern left is spot-on brilliant.  This podcast was far superior to anything you'll see on a news network.

So you think it is more likely that this goof hasn't regained reason (if he ever had it in the first place) and is only trying to make money?  May be but extremely cynical view.  I think he has seen the light and isn't afraid to tell it like it is.

That's how I felt.  With nothing to listen to as I drove, I gave this interview a try.  It was a very good talk.
