A costly army of security because the antifa fascists threaten to attack conservative speakers and attendees.  Yes, there is a real cost involved.

antifa is a threat but I don't view them as a significant threat.  In fact, I think they are a very minor threat.  

What is a FAR greater threat is the leftist mentality that infects our highest levels of government.  Our former secretary of state was running her own side-business while in office and was undoubtedly engaging in "pay-for-play" while transmitting classified documents and who knows if she was getting paid for exposing intelligence and NOTHING happened to her.  The DOJ, FBI, CIA, IRS, NSA, etc., etc., etc. is filled to the brim with leftist fascists whose loyalty is to their Democratic masters.

My point is quite clear. There could be a small number in Antifa who are dangerous, but most are wannabes who are more annoying than dangerous, and they will be gone once Trump is. They have yet to show evidence for killing anyone, and outside Portland are rarely evident, some protests and the occasional damage, so don't build them up into some great threat.

The aren't there yet, but they are shutting down free speech and beating people up in the streets, etc...  Ya think one day the brown shirts just emerged as this ubiquitous mob?  Everyone starts somewhere, that's why it's best to nip this in the bud now before they turn into our version of the klan of the 1920s through the 1960s or possibly worse.

In my experience (sorry Cincy, but it's actually first-hand experience and not some internet feelings) the most radical, violent and destructive are almost universally white, but at the events there are lots of people of color there as support.

HT and Syncro are correct. These folks are 99% white but their cause is anti-white. Their goal is communism. No better way to communism than uniting - solidarity -folks who traditionally felt slighted then using them against the power they want to overthrow. Once this happens they 'balkanize' the groups so they can pit one against another to weaken these groups while maintaining power. Look at how the dems are acting. Pitting groups against Trump so they can regain power. What do you think they will do to the black folks who foolishly vote them into power? Ask the folks who Cummings 'represents'.
