Build the Wall
#46
“The bill before us would certainly do some good. It would authorize some badly needed funding for better fences and better security along our borders that should help stem some of the tide of illegal immigration in this country.”

No, that statement wasnâ€t made by a Republican. It was a speech given by then-Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois in 2006, when 26 Senate Democrats — including Obama and Sens. Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer of New York –- voted for The Secure Fence Act, which allocated $50 billion over 25 years for 700 miles of fencing along the border.

Thatâ€s right. Barack Obama and Chuck Schumer voted for 10 times more funding than President Trump is requesting now to secure our border. What has changed Democrats†recognition that our southern border needs to be secured? Two words: President Trump.

I've posted it over and over and over: Dems fear Trump like no other republican president since Reagan.  If he is for it they are against it.

National security?  Really. The wall is but one tool.  His focus on the wall makes it his pet project.

The humanitarian crisis?  Thatâ€s not what Trump speaks of.

Have you never read the logistics of the “wall”?  What of the northern border?
Trump speaks all the time about the humanitarian aspects of the wall.  Human trafficking, rapes, drugs, robbery of the illegals, deaths in the desert.  Try watching a real news network some time.

I agree that the Dems are reflexively against anything Trump is for, and vice versa. Trump knows how to leverage that to make them defend rats.

It's entertaining. Hillary would have been boring, so would Biden. Predictable and boring, Hillary of course would have been far more corrupt than a Biden, who might be a honest sort.

Biden is very dishonest and crooked. He's just far dumber than the Clintons so he doesn't do it on their scale or with as much finesse and skill. He is actually very dumb. The Clintons are , of course, extremely intelligent. But he is no more honest.

Huh, I didn't think of Biden as being crooked simply because he strikes me as too dumb. I thought I read he was "poor" even now.

I think Hillary is the brains in that couple, Bill's job is glad handing and the other stuff.

The Clinton Foundation is brilliant.

Look at Biden's history of stealing speeches and what his druggie kid has been able to do with his crooked dad's political help. He's too stupid to make the millions the Clintons made for sure. But he is not honest.
There is no doubt the Clintons do corruption at the pro expert level. Probably two of the most accomplished crooks in American political history.

Maybe I'm over adjusting for his incompetence. His kid might be corrupt.

I don't think I'd call him "honest" but was not thinking of him as corrupt by the standards of Senators in general.

Politics has been an ugly business for quite some time, but I think the Clintons took it up a few notches and took some otherwise decent people along for the ride with them.  They made it SOP where some people probably thought to themselves, "...hey they're rich, why not me?..."

In short, the Clintons took Little Rock to DC, and it never left.

When Hilary lost she do not say letâ€s come together and get behind this president , her response was to resist. That was their leaders cat whistle.

11 miles of new wall in the Rio Grande Valley. The majority of drugs and 40% of illegal crossings comes through there.

Hopefully there are violent protests from the left.

Sign and sealed. No way to stop it from being built
