The GLBC brewer says drink it before 126 days after release. That's like his opinion, maaaaan.
No worries. It evolves over time.
I'm sure it's sweeter and a little more sticky now.
The hops and spices fade, but it's still quite drinkable.
Just a different beer than what you'll find in late October 2019 when they release the new batch.
It changes, like when you cellar wine. So, that's kinda fun.
It's become something new comparatively.
Save one bottle and drink it back-to-back with the new batch when it comes out just for shits'n'giggles.

Weren't they having some Christmas in July event at their brewery this weekend?

Edit, not at their brewery but:

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Because many beer-loving Clevelanders simply canâ€t get through the year waiting for Great Lakes Brewing Co.'s annual release of Christmas Ale, the Ohio City brewery is making a summer batch.
The brewpub-exclusive, draft-only batch will be tapped at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25.
To add to the celebration, Great Lakes is holding a patio pig roast beginning at 4 p.m. City Dogs Cleveland will be on the patio with adoptable pooches 3 to 7 p.m. And photos with Brewer Santa will be offered 5 to 7 p.m.

Heading over to pnc park for pirates game at noon.  Beer was fine.  Tasted the same as always.  Once stored and cold shelf life is 2 years

Kelleys Island is totally underrated. Some nice camping up there at the state park if you're into that sort of thing.
