A pretty simple Federal law we need is for states and counties to report on folks who they arrest and charge and who may be illegal. The current law does not require them to ask.

I doubt it would pass the House today, but it might.

As are drug treatment programs and wasting health care resources to assist and save drug abusers and those shot in the process of buying and selling.  Just go back to convicting drug users as felons, take them off the street for 6 or 8 years and forget about the war on distribution.

You complain about the cost of the war on drugs yet people like you are creating a massive and much more expensive drug problem in America.  You want legalization yet you fail to accept responsibility for what happens afterward with a massive increase in drug use.  Then you want to use our money and flush it down the drug user toilet for health care for them.  And then on top of that you don't want to incarcerate drug users who also commit 90% of the larceny crimes in the country.  What you are really going to do is turn America into a sh*t hole of crime and drug users and you are well on the way now after winning decriminalization of drug use.  You are so hung up with your slogans and talking points you don't even see the damage you do.
