You think so?
So, the climate in trying to demonize Bush II....was that just a response to Clinton? Yup, it has escalated since about 91-92 to the current fever pitch, with the Iraq war as the event that sent it into overdrive.Â
The Iraq war has to be one of the biggest wastes of political capital in all of history

Not even close. Ozero purposely dividing the country when he, as a colored dude, could have brought the country closer. That's the ultimate political capital wasted.
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

Totally agree.  BO could have been a transcendent president.  COULD have strengthened us in strides not yet seen.  He chose instead community activism and a different fundamental transformation.

He was caught up trying to play up to those who think anything and everything in life is about race. Remember the beer summit? Or the Martin kid killed in Florida?  It came down to race and Obama is all about power.

I think we are saying the same thing.  Rather than lead thru those events, he chose to be a community activist and use those things.  Obama was all about the easy path.....

For reasons I noted, I don't expect a political discussion board to attract more than a very small number of "dissenting" posters.
Humans are very tribal.

Liberals are too cowardly and dishonest to participate in a forum like this.

Who here posts on predominantly liberal boards?
Probably not many. Humans are tribal and prefer echo chambers to "spirited debate".
I did try for a while. Got the Ban Hammer.

I think a few have tried including yourself. A liberal board will ban conservatives with few exceptions.

Liberals are too cowardly and dishonest to participate in a forum like this. Makes you wonder.  I PMed and emailed Cru Jones to post more. Nothing.  I've encouraged SomeNole to participate more. I welcome ALL here and you all know I'll make sure everything is fair and on the up and up.  MrNovember? LOL...seems he did get some protection on the scout forum to continue to create alias after alias.  Why won't he now join? Â

I know this is a very broad brush statement....but over close to 20 years on these forums, I've seen a handful....not more than 5......liberals that would argue their belief with conviction and without overt ridicule for someone who didn't believe their way. I know there are many conservatives who ridicule those who think differently, but I've seen far more conservatives who can debate their beliefs more than a one liner argument and don't get personal.
