That's actually a cool new rule. I know the baseball fundamentalists won't like it if they move that rule up to the MLB... I'm kind of the same with hockey, most of the time can't stand when they make new rules.

Yeah I know about a dropped third strike. I like the risk/reward aspect of the rule. Although if the ball ends up going all the way to the backstop I don't see anyone ever getting thrown out.

I like it-3rd strike rule/wild pitch benefits the batter.

Thanks to a new experimental rule change in the Atlantic League, he was able to steal first and make history.
Not in MLB. I'm OK if the minors try things.

I could see some debate if the batter sees the PB and takes a step to first and then stops.
Can the batter do this if another runner is on first with fewer than 2 outs? |
