That story reminded me of a story...

 My wife loves pillows. We probably have about 15 pillows on our bed (mostly decorative) and, when my kids were toddlers (and my wife wasn't home), I would take all the pillows and spread them out on the bed, stand about 10-12 feet away and throw my kids onto the bed.  They loved it.

I did the same with my youngsters. Fortunately, we have a vaulted ceiling in the bedroom and I could launch them pretty high when they were little. (Mrs. Also loads the bed up with a bunch of pillows).
