In real life he was the total opposite. Everybody liked Larry.

My favorite episode was the one that here Khan was a redneck.

I think one of my favorite Frank Burns lines was when he was telling a story (Radar was asking for an amusing anecdote for a correspondence course he was taking) about a kid from his childhood who was in a wheel chair.  Anyway, the kid lost control of it or something and it rolled into the street and Frank was laughing as he was telling the story.  BJ and/or Hawkeye jumped his ***** on how terrible that was and Frank responds, "...who cares, his parents had money..."  

Of course it was mostly in the delivery, with that twirpy voice of his, that really sold it.

I think I'm sticking with Bill Murray.  The layering of humor within the stabbing remarks is just so well woven.  It's like he's had decades of practice slicing and dicing people.
