As for Achilles on KD, it was a full rupture. Only in dark ages do they not do surgery. My surgeon did Terrel Sighs and he was able to be one of the few to get back to an elite level in pro sports. He'll be in a cast for over a month and he won't be doing anything but stretching and a roller on it for early PT. 

I seemed to be fine laterally, but slowed straight line. I also was getting old so tough to say which is which. He will be less explosive pushing off the gimp leg.
