We are given POTUS candidates by the system. Trump was a rare outlier. He was not invited and crashed the party. Trump has his many, many faults. He has failed to deliver on campaign promises. The Left reminds us that there is no bigger idiot.
But out of the POTUS candidates campaigning, who can beat him? If nobody better steps up to the plate, Trump's probably a 2-term POTUS despite running the gauntlet and winning every state he needed... 75 electoral votes were won by razor-thin margins:
Michigan by 11k votes... 16 electoral votes
Wisconsin by 27k votes... 10 electoral votes
Florida by 120k votes... 29 electoral votes
Pennsylvania by 68K votes... 20 electoral votes

Biden v. Trump
It's gonna be a wild General Election
Trump tries damage control after offer to foreign spies... https://www.cnn.com/2019/06/13/politics/...index.html
President Donald Trump threw up a smokescreen of deflection and confusing counter attacks Thursday as a furor mounted over his staggering comment that he would be open to dirt dug up on his 2020 opponents by foreign powers such as Russia or China.
Even in a presidency that long ago burned through all conceivable superlatives, Trump's statement was a stunner. This was more than a mere candidate calling on Russia to find Hillary Clinton's emails. It went further than dumping on US intelligence agencies... or the Kremlin's 2016 interference caper is one big Democratic hoax.
This was the President of the United States -- the man charged with protecting the Constitution, American democracy and the Western world -- sitting at the Resolute desk in the Oval Office, saying he would accept damaging information from Russia and China on his 2020 Democratic foe.

Biden... I think the DNC has forgotten his innate ability to make huge gaffes. I'd be shocked if it's him after the debates begin.
+1... it should be a "wild" election if you're right.

I agree....his gaffes will be legendary......but I thought the same about Trump in the primary.....
And I see no other Dem with staying power. Â Kamala has been forgotten, so has Booker, Buttigeig and Cincy's hair dude had their 15 minutes, but faded fast, Swalwell is polling at 0%, Warren is a joke, so is Gillibrand and the Minny Senator, Bernie has no depth whatsoever and only has the young socialists behind him........

A case of reverse psychology? Â Dems up in arms willing to draft legislation against this type of "influence." (Dems SHOWN to be the biggest abusers of this crap while they project onto Trump)Â Legislation passes. Â Trump thanks Nancy and Chuck. Â Walks off mumbling "dance puppet, dance" with a ***** eating grin on his face.

What Trump said was just stupid. But weâ€ve seen almost 4 years of this, so we know it ainâ€t going away.
I do love the pearl clutching by the Dems when it was Hillaryâ€s campaign using a foreign national (Chris Steele) to do the exact same thing. Heard today “but that wasnâ€t the campaign, it was a contracted firmâ€. Their hypocrisy is just so thick
Talking about Biden's gaffes...

Yea, libtards are in meltdown about that. The simple truth is that candidates can and do accept information from all sorts of sources and it's legal and ethical and moral. Libtards love to feign indignation over stuff like this while simultaneously ignoring far more egregious sins by their own. They can cry and whine all they like, but the average, American voter is going to vote based on how the economy is affecting them and, right now, that's looking like a win for Trump. But, it's early.

As I am no longer able to copy/paste to this site as I had done in the past, I can only link this statement. Â
https://twitter.com/EllenLWeintraub/stat...4968096768
Her statement seems to be in response to Trump's statement that he would be willing to accept information from foreign sources. It seems that she is implying that it would be illegal to do so. Of course, I'm pretty sure that she's wrong. And the fact that she put out this statement indicates to me that she is a partisan, DNC-loving, swamp creature.
