They aren't my sources, they are folks who comment on such things on the web. The move due to Mexico obviously already occurred, as is usual when surprise news happens, not somehow days or weeks later after the surprise is announced.
Markets tend to react rather quickly to things like analysts upgrade and downgrades and comments and earnings announcements and so forth. People who have some experience with markets understand this and have experienced it.
I'll infer there is no word, as of now, when your experts say the move will occur.
PS: Sure they're your sources. If you trust them enough to cite them as "experts" and vouch for them... they are your sources.

This is simple stuff. When the rumors about trade are good, markets tend to move up, and vice versa. Last week the Mexico thing suggested higher tariffs and markets moved down, and then Trump reversed that and markets moved up rather sharply.
The same is true about China. The markets don't like protectionism and tariffs, for obvious reasons, and move on the news.
If you think otherwise, fine with me, but there is a pretty obvious coincidence in this.
When some analysis at some major investment bank chances their outlook on some stock, it also reacts rather quickly up or down, and dramatically, so I believe the market can be impacted by "analysts" and what they say, which is one example of how "smaller investors" can move the markets. I doubt the institutional guys worry much when JPM or Chase comes out with an up or downgrade one a stock. The float is small enough that small investors can drive the price for a day.
This of course is all very very basic stuff. I don't think any of it is somehow radical or unusual or ridiculous, but others are free to believe whatever they want, I don't care. I go my own way when it comes to investing. Others can go their way. Mature adults usually can discuss their ideas on such matters rationally, well, maybe not usually.
Nonsense... but carry on anyway.

Mexico could be a very wealthy country if it got rid of enough corruption. It has as much, if not more, natural resources as the US. The normal folks are hardworking and would have no problem making a decent living in Mexico. The problem is the cartels run the military thus the government.
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

Is it your contention, then, that this is not happening under Trump?
