Allah is just an Arabic word for god.

It's not surprising that an adherent of Religion A would disparage adherents of Religion B.

The Muslims are a lot "nicer" about Jesus and Mary than Christians are about Mohammed, and of course Christians will say there is good reason for that.

Everyone is of course free to define their own god however they wish. Is the Christian god the same as the Jewish god?

Maybe the god is the same but the vision of Him is different? Is the Mormon god the same as the Catholic god?

Telling someone their revered god is actually Satan is probably not going to win many points.

According to Christians, yes. Of course, we have no idea whose holy book is correct.  If you happen to be born in a different part of the world, you would be proclaiming that Jesus was just a prophet.

Muslims have a more favorable view of Jesus than do Jews in fact, by quite a bit.

Muslims don't like the Trinity concept of course (nor did Sir Isaac Newton for that matter).

I don't see the point in telling a Muslim that Allah is Satan.

In that case, informing him that Allah is Satan would probably also not be availing.
